So you want Arizona to give up a productive, cheap, 3rd-4th player and 2nd rounder for a massive cap dump, a late first round pick, a 2nd and a third round pick. I don’t see much incentive for them. Boyd produced about as much as you can expect van Riemsdyk to there. You can definitely make the argument that Arizona’s second round pick will be higher than the one they get from Philly too. So it amounts to them getting an extra third and moving up a few spots from round two to the late round one, taking on a massive salary for the year, losing years of production from Boyd in exchange for a guy who puts up the same for only one year. I don’t think they go for that.

getting better is not the right option for the flyers. its time to commit to a full rebuild. the pieces that they have arent enough to win with and barring a full blown boys club miracle nobody is taking the contracts that need to go (JVR, Hayes, Risto, etc). flyers need to tank HARD.

Way too much to give up for the JVR dump…

I like Forsling but Sanhiem shouldn’t be moved…

Minnesota can probably get a better offer on Fiala elsewhere, but I'd like that move

Youre probably right, literally have never seen a flyers rebuild in my lifetime. its super frustrating. comcast sucks. im all for tanking this year to get bedard/michkov 1 or 2. i just think well get screwed in the lottery ala 2006
