McDavid is the best offensive player (and I think that's enough to make him the best player) and Matthews is probably the best goal scorer and perhaps on his way to become the best 200ft player, so it might be closer than you think. I think McDavid is the more dominant player now and has been at least a top 3 forward in each season (I'm not talking about point totals) that he has played. This is probably not the thread to debate about who is better though, so let's agree that Vasilevskiy is number 1.
