For one of those two assets (not both), I'd be prepared to make an exception for Backlund. He's the sort of guy our budding centers could learn a lot from.

Eh, I feel like there are better players they could get for 5.4 mil over 2 years than a 33 year old <.5 p/g Backlund. That's a trade I would expect CBJ to be getting paid to take.
