Description
I doubt that the Anaheim deal gets done for that, but anaheim needs dmen to mentor the rookies and muzz is that type of guy. Lundestrom needs a change of scenery, and comtois hads been in trade talks before, they get a first and only give out a lower end 2nd rounder.

With Fowler and Shattenkirk the Ducks dont need an overpaid injury plagued Dman

Even if the Ducks needed a veteran Dman the dont even consider that offer

Essentially works out to the TOR 1st for Lundestrom, Comtois and a second, thats brutal value for the Ducks

Abramov becomes a 4th liner best case scenario, already touched on Muzzin.

No upside here for the Ducks

Just read the description, Lundestrom does not need a change of scenery, he is developing exactly as expected to be our 3C and both him and Comtois arent throw ins, The Ducks would probably want a late first for each of them at least, No reason to trade them for less than we invested into them

I'd do Mrazek for Driedger 1for1 but as it stands that's a huge overpay for a guy with those numbers.

My thinking was that they are taking on more money so they need to have some incentive to take the worse goalie on.

Take Holl out, and Mrazek is only making 300k more...

Why would Montreal pay to move up 1 spot in the draft? If the Leafs are willing to move the pick it probably means they have no intention on taking the guy we want, so the logical thing to do is just sit tight and hope they don't take him.
