The term on that deal will force him to have to trade Beauvillier and probably 2 of the 5m guys and the return won't be the king ransom that he probably wants for Beauvillier. He will be ready though to offer sheet Hoglander, Kuzmenko (if he's good and Vancouver gets him) Pettersen, and Podolzkin if he gets the opportunity.

Don't think he will get the opportunity to offer sheet Pettersson or Podkolzin. he might with Hoglander but it's probably matched like the Dobson one

Perhaps but the threat of an offer sheet would be more real so both Pettersson and Podkolzin (I don't think he can be offer sheeted coming off an ELC but if he signs a bridge deal) will likely get paid more. If Lou isn't around he might make the next guy promise to offer sheet either if they get the opportunity.

I doubt it at that point if Lou isn't around the threat drops significantly

You cant just put poolman on LTIR. Why would Vancouver spend that much on Dobson especially when they still have OEL and Myers. Nick Paul easily declines. Why is Horvat still on this team?

Because Dobson boosters their Top 4 into one of the better ones in the leauge, poolman has been having migraine issues, and has had concussion issues in the past there is a chance he doesn't play another game in the nhl again no one is going to pay Nick Paul 3mill, why wouldn't horvat be on the team?
