I like Soucy but the Leafs already have too many LHDs

I don't think the Leafs want that deal, Soucy doesn't really help them. Not to mention, you're expecting an 18 year old to play top-4 minutes in your D core and you want your record to be better? Very hard to make an impact as a defenceman that young, Soucy probably helps you more in that case.

I could see the Leafs asking on Gourde, or even to move some salary, but I don't think Soucy makes sense.
