Description

I decided to leave Zaitsev on the roster even though he is a huge liability when he starts and hope the 3 RD on the nhl roster I have start over him. To clear his cap will likely be much cheaper next offseason and then RS becomes very much into play. This team should be able to compete for the playoffs next yr, whether they make it is tough bc of a competitive ATL division but Norris, Formenton, Stutzle, Batherson all rising last season and hopefully some quality play from Pinto should help.

I am so confused. You know Murray has an insane amount of negative value right? I think dumping his contract for the 7th would be closer to fair value than this trade.

It’s crazy the sens could probably afford to dump several good prospects for risks and still have a nice prospect pool

Kid has talent, but not sure Philly wants to have to draft Kemell since they have a burg load of RWproslects

I know it complicates things but if this deal happens I think Philly also tosses a RW prospect for a decent LW/C just to balance their pool

No . Strong chance Murray goes on LTIR lol. He’s close to even actually . Overpaid but at 3 mill someone would be quick to take him

You get an early 2nd and a young player and former 1st rd pick in brannstrom. it is less value than 7th but 7 was definitely too high considering murphy is coming off his worst season in quite a few yrs. Murray could hit LTIR possibly as well.

I tried to make a deal where it could work for both PHI and OTT. Not sure if Zach is the best option for phi but he was only drafted a yr back in the early 2nd rd. He would be a solid add to PHI pool and they’ll still have options at 7. This is a move OTT can definitely afford to do and have more options at 5

He has actually become a very quality defensive fwd over the last 2 seasons and an avg finsiher and even strength offense impact. He is only 20 and this would be a very difficult offer sheet financially for NYR to match. Has much better isolated impacts than KK had who got an offer sheet along these lines. Granted, KK improved a lot this yr in CAR but that could be a real possibility for Kakko next season.

not a chance in hell anyone offer sheets Kappo for a 1st, he is not worth it in any realm or universe, i would not even trade a 2nd or 3rd round pick for him, and that 2023 1st is unprotected so you just gave the Rangers a shot a Bedard for a bust not worth more than a 3rd or 4th because with smith still HC, no chance in hell OTT gets out of the bottom 10
