Engvall just scored 35 points, so I've gotta think he's getting more money than that. For comparison, guys like Kapanen and Gurianov are likely getting around $3M.

Avs pass easily. LOC is cheap and decent for the role he is in and just signed a good extension. There won't be any cap space for Kerfoot going forward. Definitely wouldn't be giving up a pick as well for TOR to dump cap.

Jack Campbell isn't signing that.

Arizona passes, takes more than Holl and a 2nd round pick that's still 3 drafts away to unload on Petr Mrazek.

Colorado passes, They can do better than Kerfoot.

Those are good comparables. I'll have to adjust to come closer to what they signed at the time of their next contracts.

Campbell has said he wants to remain on the team. 4 mil x 5 seems fair considering his comparables would be what Carolina signed this past offseason with Raanta and Andersen. Those two have more of a proven track record than Campbell and Campbell is getting more term than what both of those goalies were offered.

I figured the Ritchie trade was Ritche and a conditional 2nd round pick so Mrazek and a 2nd round pick with an additional asset in a minute eating defenseman in Holl that can play PK1 minutes would be decent. What would you suggest the Leafs offer instead?

Colorado will be losing Kadri to free agency in the offseason. Kerfoot has developed well where he can play on any line and be a net positive. Kerfoot also had a career year this past season. He could be a decent placeholder while they find a replacement for what Kadri brought to the team. If not Colorado, which team would you suggest would have interest in Kerfoot?

If Kerfoot is so good, why wouldn’t Toronto keep him?

Also, why does practically every Toronto ACGM trade Kerfoot?

COL declines.
While Kerfoot is the better overall player, LOCs cost for a bottom 6 role makes more sense for COL
