      I don't like the Doughty trade. That is a lot of the future to give up for a guy with 2 years left on his contract. Doughty is great, but the window is just opening in Buffalo, not about to close and win now is a must.

      Doughty and Ristolainen would be lethal, but I would agree that's a lot to give up for BUF (which is what you have to do to get superstars). That one-two punch might be worth it though!

      I mean you say "lost" in the expansion, but is it truly a loss, ill gladly take the 5 million off the cap to bring in talent that, you know, has talent.


      I also agree its a lot to give up for DD

      I, myself think that isn't enough for Doughty. That's a 4th liner, a top prospect, a 1st rounder, and a good, middle pairing defenseman. Yes, that's going to get you a lot, but for the guy that might be the best defenseman in the NHL, i don't think that's enough.
