JG is from southern Jersey which has closer ties to Philly based teams.
Salem is a far way off from Newark.

As for the AGM, it's a fun team but I wouldn't want the Devils to sign JG to that contract.
I like the Campbell and Giroux signings however, and the Sandin trade.

If I was the Leafs, I would simply wait for the Devil to non-tender Wood, since it seems unlikely that they'll pay him the slightly-below $3.5 mil that his QO will be...
