Call me crazy but if Philly did that I'd be ok. If you're adding Skinner I think you can add more from Philly But I don't know what they could add

I love Nurse...but not the contract. I would do this as we would finally be getting our elite goaltender we have been searching for. It gives us way more cap felxibility for the offseason and im hoping im not jinxing myself but Hart>skinners potential. As an Oilers fan this trade looks fine and from Phillys perspective they are getting a good goalie and a top pairing d man. I think we could do an improvemnt over Murray though as that left side is looking a little weak. Also i feel better about Smith and Hart then Smith and Skinner.

Oilers would still be adding a lot in order for Philly to consider. I like Skinner, I like Nurse, but Nurse isn’t a top line D and his contract is horrible.

Perhaps towards the end of his career, I can see Ekblad coming to Detroit once they get better in a few years.

Keith is proving experience matters in this playoff run; not sure why you would want him to retire. Is he the player he was 10 years ago? No, but he's been an asset

keith is playing awful my man I'm not sure what you've been watching. If he retires, that's a nearly 9 million cap swing.

Provorov and Nurse have very similar O stats… prov has a slight advantage over his career but not enough to really mean much… Nurse is a grittier D, I like that, going to get you more PIMs but still fun… Prov is just a bit better defensively.. not much but enough for me to put him over Nurse… take last nights game for instance, when MaC split the D Nurse turned to the outside taking himself out of the play… this is something you should learn not to do as a kid… little things but it’s why I rank them like that

I don't agree that's he's playing awful at all; that's really strong words for a guy playing 20 minutes a night at the coaches discretion who knows more then both of us, especially systems and assignments
