The Problem with Dumba is I just don't think the money is gonna be there to keep him. Unless He's taking a pay cut from his current 6mil, I don't know that there's room for his next deal. Things get tight quick next off season, with Tkachuk, Norris, Batherson, Chabot and in this case Fiala all locked in to big money, Stützle and Zub needing big money, Sanderson's next deal looming, and still needing the money to afford your surrounding talents like Formenton, Joseph and Pinto.

Very true that’s my issue. Fiala alone would be tight on cap in 2 years. Adding Dumba with extension will make it impossible

And then there's the issue of ownership uncertainty

Can we just do Fiala for the 7th OA pick instead? Not a big fan of trading Greig in any circumstances, well outside of a few players that would never be available in the first place


We need more a JBD type than Addison. And while Dumba would be great, I'd rather we go after a different type for Chabot's partner, as well.
