Someone hasn’t watched a lot of Devils hockey lately.
Siegenthaler’s pretty much untouchable at this point, you’d have to offer up Lundell or Knight to get him.

As a Devils fan, I apologize if this went over my head...but you're joking right? You think Sieg has the same value as Lundell or Knight?

At the very least, don't just pick Siegs for a trade because of his salary....you need to look at what he did this year. He was a fantastic shutdown guy. It's just our goalies gave up shots from bad shots.

I don't see anything else on their roster that would be of any interest for the Devils, and it's not like they are gonna give up Ekblad anytime soon.
If you want to argue that Devils would have to add something along with Siegenthaler then that's fine.
I don't think that add would have to be any bigger than a 2nd or a B level prospect however.
Siegenthaler had some of the best results league wide in defensive impact, he is frikkin amazing.
