Imagine a world where all your dreams come true.
Every Ontario born player who dreamt of playing for the Maple Leafs as a child and wants to fulfill the greatest accomplishment in NHL history - a dynasty of Stanley Cups for our hometown. All these players abandon the pursuit of financial gain by signing reduced salaries (as a collective F-U to the salary cap) to become immortalized on the cup in the greatest hockey city in the world (eat your hearts out Montreal :) ).
Imagine if they all took hometown discounts... imagine how unstoppable that team would be.

C'mon, everyone knows Greenville, South Carolina, is the greatest hockey city in the world. Just look at those fire ECHL jerseys they have and you will see for yourself
