Totally fair. Was wondering if the leafs still valued Muzzin or preferred the cap flexibility with Gio re-signed. What about the same deal but Kerfoot instead of Muzzin? Hitting the cap floor with this Armchair depends on it, haha

Monahan still has positive value with his $6M cap hit? He totally could, I’m just surprised Only reason he was a target for me was to hit the cap floor on a contract without term beyond this season

If he is healthy his value should definitely be positive. Not high value but not negative. If you want assets for taking on cap ask about Lucic.

That’s fair. Not sure he’d make sense then. Ducks not in a position to pay up for a 4th line spot just to hit cap floor, haha.

Lol I would love to for the purpose of this exercise. Unfortunately being realistic Lucic isn’t possible. He gets to limit his trade list to only 8-10 teams. No way the ducks are on that

Monahan's not a 4th liner though.

Lucic has a house in LA, i don't see why he wouldn't waive there

I feel like in order for Philly to do that they’d need to be offered a pretty nice prospect as well

I like it I can see flyers doing that if its a RHD left on the fifth spot. if Cooley or if Slafkovsky is left they will make the pick and run. And if they have there heart set on Savoie they could pick him there but I hope they don't make the Savoie and trade the pick for those Anaheim picks but think they would want a mid prospect as well.

Muzzin has a lot of positive trade value, it’s the NTC that’s the problem, I wouldn’t be surprised if a contender would trade a first for him, he was Fantastic in the playoffs, the only reason leafs fans are trading him a lot is because sandin is better and he needs to be in the top 4.

Holl could fetch a 4th or a late third. Kerfoot can get a mid second and early 4th. I feel very bad for kerfoot because he is practically bio’s out of Toronto for doing everything right. Anyways I hope that helped
