What makes you think you get Comtois Gibson and all of that retention with this package?

You guys are making it seem like they're retaining $10M in one year. it's $2M per year and they are in a rebuild, so for the next 2-3 years that $2M will be nothing. and even in year 4 and 5 i can't see $2m being a massive issue. Cap will go up.

Realistically, Gibson's stats have not been that great over the last 3 seasons and Comtois was very very bad this past season.
