Also, Zboril was ranked right where he was picked and was Chabot's partner in Saint John. So pick 2/3 of Barzal/Connor/Chabot and no guarantee they would all be here due to cap constraints. Would definitely have more assets though.

I'm just talking about drafting guys that were ranked and consensus picks - there was so much talent there and to miss on 2/3 is not a great look. Even if Zboril finds his legs and is a 4-6 D-man they missed a 1, simply not drafting a center in that draft with what they had in the system is....bad. I get Zboril being ranked there and them somehow liking him better than Chabot but 2015 was deadly costly to this franchise.
