Smith isnt retiring and it seems awfully likely that Jesse isnt going to be back and they prefer to keep Yamo. Kulak is a good deal. You'll need to give longer term to keep AVV down, maybe get a discount there. I'm interested to see what Mcleod can do as a full time 3rd line center, Holloway needs to be given more ice time than 3 minutes. That made no sense how you dress him and play so little.

Lots of tough choices coming! Barrie will be tough to deal but Seattle is an option if they lose out on Klingberg.

Kuzmenko cant be relied to jump in as a rookie 2nd line left wing, you need to sign someone and that means no Darcy Kuemper. Signing Holtby cheap at a few million makes more sense. You go after a winger like Hoffman in Montreal at retention, maybe Phil Kessel.
They cant fool around with unproven kids without a pedigree in the McDrai window

After Smith's presser retiring is a possibility for him, and not signing Puljujarvi would be a bad mistake. Definitely excited to see Holloway and McLeod in a full time role.

Also worried about Kuzmenko fitting in but the money being used on Keumper makes it worth it IMO. Worst case Cloudy could and foegle could slide up ig. Just don't want to waste another run without a bonafide number 1 tendy.

This is seriously so much more well rounded than people continually trying to ram Kane into this line up. A team that plays up and down the ice getting Lyubushkin makes a ton of sense, there's a reason he looked so good in Toronto, great rush defender. Unfortunately I think that Kulak will need a bit more $$, but a Foegle deal wouldn't be hard to swing to make that happen.
