    Would you really rather have trouba over Rielly? Not sure its that much of an upgrade to give up Bracco too.

    Yeah no way would Lou do Rielly for Trouba, Rielly is very reasonable right now and Lou will need to give big raises to Nylander, Marner and Matthews here down the road. Trouba in his UFA years will easily command around 7 years $49 million at the very least and once the Leafs give out their big raises i doubt that could afford Trouba.

    Rielly is extremely good. Can't see the Leafs trading him. Trouba is very good, but he's not Rielly good.

    A small help on the defence but hardly worth the effort with all those trades
    Leafs have Reilly, Gardiner, Zaitsev and Carrick. It's how to improve the last three positions at least short term Marincin, Marczenko have contracts. Leafs have cap space to help for year or two before Dermott, Nielsen maybe more are NHL ready.
