I can't imagine New Jersey would be foolish enough to consider that for one year of Miller as there is almost no chance he re-signs with then.

Not really if that a rental JT Miller. If NJ trade is 2 overall pick for a one year deal player there need to have discussion before the trade to extend the guys. They won't really move for rental they are not really doing this because there window opportunity to win a Stanley Cup have alot of time infront of them.
