Miller's a great player but is not what Tampa needs, Sergachev and Cernak alone would be too much for Tampa.

What Tampa NEEDS is cap space- Cernak is replaceable, and Miller provides much more at forward than Sergy does on defense. This would provide Foote with space to grow, and Tampa might actually be able to keep Palat with this, or take a run at a LD free agent. Something tells me they’re going to do something similar to this for Miller, just because with retention he makes basically nothing

Yeah, the trade is disgusting no matter how you cut it.

Sergachev and Cernak have great deals for what they bring for another year and then they're RFA.
Adding a 1st and 2nd on top of Sergachev and Cernak is comedy, right?
We don't need cap space unless we're planning on taking a run at Gaudreau (which we're obviously not).
Foote is a 4D at best. He doesn't need a runway only to crash land at the other side.

Vancouver has as good a chance of winning the 22 stanley cup as this trade happening
Under Yzerman/JBB TB has not traded away a
Defenseman without getting one back so all of a sudden trade 3 for 0 BRILLIANT!!!!!!!

JBB probably rejects the Miller trade. He has traded way too many assets for Hagel and Paul and they can always find cheaper options other than Miller.
