Big Changes - Big wins

Created by: NikitaAviva
Team: 2022-23 San Jose Sharks
Initial Creation Date: Jun. 12, 2022
Published: Jun. 12, 2022
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Let's imagine that I am a new GM, I have no attachment to the players and none of the players is protected from the trade. Holtz, Bordelo, Eklund will be sent to the AHL a couple of times. Before the deadline, Bonino, Nieto and most likely Balcers will be traded. This season will also decide the fate of Gregor. By the season 23-24 the roster will be freer.

How in the world does Dahlen and Simek get Wallinder. Obviously I wouldn't complain but Detroit scoffs at this.

I don't know what the situation is with prospects in Detroit, so I picked the first prospect I saw without a contract.

Wallinder was one pick after Wiesblatt. He's good and worth a lot more than that.

I've changed it.

Knowing this:
1. No team is going to want to offer Meier the $10 million QO next year
2. This trade contains 2022 picks, thus must be done before 2022 draft (July 7-8)
3. This trade cannot come with an extension, since earliest Meier can be extended is July 13th (after the draft)

Leads me to this:
4. Meier is being traded as one-year rental
5. No team is paying this price (Holtz, 1st, 2nd) for a rental.

Thus, Devils Decline.
I would suggest re-offering as a trade without 2022 picks, so its done after July 13th.

You do realize Dallas is trying to move money out.. why in the world would they be interested in one of the worst contracts in the league even if it was 2mil retained?

He may have a massive contract, but at 37, Burns works it off to the fullest and shows a level that many defensmans do not dream of. If you have any questions, you can watch all San Jose games this season. Burns is a terminator, which can be productive in any team.
