    dont think Colorado would want to take uninsured contract of Horton which is why Columbus took him off the books in the first place.

    probably not but Avs are owned by one of the richest owners in all of the NHL, and even in all sports, if they felt like they could take the hit they would. Columbus was different situation with their ownership group

    That Landeskog trade....woof. I don't see this being good for the Avs or the Lightning. Makes no sense

    So you've traded the Avs 3 most valuable chips, inexplicably retained salary on along term deal despite Barrie's highly reasonable contract, taken back multiple terrible contracts, and all you got in return are dice rolls? Not a single bona fide young NHL talent?

    Yikes.
