I don’t think the Sabres are trading any of their 3 1st.

What would it take to get Quick? Its exactly the kind of move i expect the Sabres to make (high cap/low salary)

Ya I am least confident in that one, but with 3 1st rounders I feel like the sabres would be willing to move one of them. I needed to move Iafallo's cap hit to make this happen. He would be a good hometown player probably playing in the top 6, PP, and PK. He has term and a decent contract. Most importantly he would actually consider resigning in 2 years. Plus JAD is a good C/LW prospect. Either way Iafallo and JAD will be moved for draft capital.

Hypothetically he has the value of a 2nd and a 3rd IMO, but I couldn't see Quick leaving this offseason. The Kings would never move him anywhere he doesn't want to go, and it seems really important to him to win another cup with Kopi/Doughty in LA. Next offseason if Peterson takes the net and Quick doesn't play in the playoffs I could see him signing elsewhere.

Welcome to CapFriendly in general and the cadre of hard-core Kings supporters in particular.

Matt Roy should be the last guy we're trading to "clear cap." We need him more than we need Iafallo. I'd be happy with Iafallo, Turcotte and our 2022 first for Chychrun, with maybe a little added, but those two deals give up too much for Chychrun and a pick only a few ahead of the one we've already got.

Thanks! I should have been more careful with my words. Matt Roy is a very good roster player which is required for a Chychrun trade. I don't want to move an RD to the left so Walker or Roy should go and Walker would be very hard to move. If the Chychrun trade is an over pay in what should be a bidding war I would definitely switch Roy and Walker. Iafallo is a great player, but is basically being replaced with Forsberg. In the Iafallo trade they couldn't take on any salary so I just did picks instead of searching for LD or G prospects. Also this is mainly for fun realistically I see the kings getting Chychrun and a top 6 winger like Nichushkin while keeping Roy and Iafallo.
