2022-2023 Offseason

Description
Love the D-Core and would be wiling to give up a bit more for Girard. Feels weird putting him on the third pair, but I don’t think Dobson and Girard would be a great pair, but I could be wrong.

I would get either Girard or Dunn no need to play one on the third pairing

I agree, I was gonna get Mike Reilly instead of Girard but I’m bored of trading for him 😂

And I would imagine Dunn would be the one on the third pairing. He was pretty bad this year, no?

I put Dunn on the second pair because I think Dobson and Girard would be a weird fit (two offensive defensemen)

Dunn is pretty brutal defensively

Unless Nichushkin wants $7m+, the Avs aren't letting him walk. He's top priority this offseason. Also not nearly enough for Girard

Depends on the model you look at. I know The Athletic’s model was very low on Dunn’s defensive impact this season. Other public models viewed him positively in St Louis, but who knows how much of that is related to usage, systems, or bad goaltending in Seattle.

In his time with St Louis pretty much all major models loved him Doms, Evolving hockey, JFresh etc I actually don’t know how he did in Seattle I didn’t pay attention but his team was not good and he look like he did pretty well offensively (good point totals) I think if he played bad in Seattle he can easily bounce back to his St Louis self with a team like the Islanders
