could this actually be real? Connor Murphy for a 5th and 7th? Not Knies and 1st? I'm only playing around but boy that sure is a drop from some other things we've seen.

EDIT: I saw the Dach trade - I take it back.

I'm not a Hawks fan, but Dach is a solid young player that hasn't come into his own. I think Chicago would want someone with the same ceiling as him. They're also going re-build so he's got more value on the team then off, especially if it's for picks.

First you retain salary by clicking the little + icon next to the player in the trade screen. Second that Miller trade is way off as the players involved are nothing special and it's a random assortment of low value picks which do nothing for quality

Hey you know what? For being new to CapFriendly, good job. This post will most likely get ripped to shreds but how else you going to learn? That being said McCabe was our best defenseman this season. Yeah Jones did good but he had some awful bad luck at moments. In the end I never never never want to see Malkin in a Hawks uniform.

when proposing a trade, below the name there should be a +, press on that then enter a value and that will retain money.

And none of those trades are even remotely realistic.

New and Leafs fan.

If you haven't already, try starting off a ACGM with your favourite team and grow from there. I found it made it a whole lot easier and your knowledge base will grow from there.
