This is great but Braun is worth a lot more than 1 Mil so there is no way he signs. Also Tavares and Nylander already played great on the same line so you should play them on the same line

Blackwood was awful this past year he’s got potential but he’s not what the leafs need

Trading a first for a goalie another team is desperately trying to upgrade from doesn't exactly scream genius play to me. If the Leafs acquire Blackwood (or someone similar, young goalie needing a rebound) you bet they would have a veteran option in front of them.

I don't think Marchment is a fit for the way the Leafs play (which is why they traded him in the first place).

Having a young 4th line of guys who are fast and hungry is way better then having a 4th line of guys like simmonds, Boyle Clifford who can't skate anymore
