i agree but thats not thats barely the cost for the second round pick from detroit. two huge and cruical cap dumps for edmonton for a 3rd liner and a super late first. and Ned isnt some cap dump pick up goalie. Ned is great. wings have no need to move him especially in this kind of a deal

While the value is fair the Canes will pass. Bertuzzi hurt too much already and will only get worse as he ages. Canes wouldnt give him a 7-8 year deal that he would need to stay and so, we wouldnt sell off a 1st and Necas for a rental.

Puljujarvi is one of the best defensive forwards in hockey at 24 years old and can put up 40 points

Klefbom will be on LTIR.. not sure how that is a huge crucial cap dump.

You clearly don’t know what you’re talking about

Pulju has never scored 40 playing with McDavid and Drai, he will definitely not with detroit. If Klefbom is going to just be on LTIR then not sure why edmonton would even move him in the first place. All this is irrelivent because A Detroit does not need to make this trade at all and B will not trade Ned after one season, in which he was very good even with a low sv%.

talk about not knowing what youre talking about trying to trade players that will not be moved at all this offseason. get a grip.

I think the specifics of the Klefbom situation probably would allow us to downgrade or even eliminate the pick we are sending back. Over $5M in cash due and potentially not covered by insurance. $5M in cash should buy more than moving 12 draft spots. I think Ned and a 2nd for Kassian dump, PJ, and a 1st is about even, adding Kelfbom should buy us our 2nd back.

I would personally re-sign Walman and put Kampfer in the minors.

I would also keep Suter as 3C unless the return was better and slot in Rasmussen on the wing. He seems to fit better there.

I think sundqvist is cooked, I’m sure the blues locker room would love him back, but that’s a decision you make at the deadline or UFA if he proves he’s healthy.

This is ridiculous; Carson Soucy doesn't have anywhere near this value. Why don't you just give away Hronek and Fabbri? I'd say try again but I'm not sure I want to see that mess.

Well this is… something. Edmonton trade is terrible for Detroit. Massive overpay for Bert, especially without retention and no extension. Seattle would run away with that, but Detroit would decline in a heartbeat. Everything else is meh.
