Description

Heard a rumor on radio today that Penguins offer to Letang is 8 mil 3 years. I do not think he will take this. I am not sure if this is true or not, but this is a hypothetical if Letang leaves. If he does then I think this marks a natural time to regroup and retool the roster. Also for the record, I think Hextall should just give him the 5 years, it seems he's trying to be in the middle and compete while preserving the future, but that just won't work imo. I say just give Letang the deal.

Lol I’m not sure 1 item on this is going to happen. They do need to find a way to deal Peterson and Zucky tho.

Letang is worth 9mil+ for sure but paying him that is tough if they are going to have a better roster than last year. Plus No other player his age is at 8mil other than Burns and Weber and those aren’t great dollars. A 5 year deal at 7-7.5mil is ideal to improve the roster. One of my fav Pens ever, hope he stays. And I would take the team above all day!
