Interesting and original ideas. I think Arizona drops Timmins though and Montreal adds a third rounder for that to work, IMO.

Not sure about SJ - I have no idea if they're rebuilding or not but it sounds like they aren't - so this is interesting.

Not trading a S.Wright guarantee for a Bedard lottery, especially if there are no 2023 1st in the return. This just makes no sense. In this case, odds are strong about the fact you have no Wright and no Bedard, would be very sad.

The odds are MTL will finish 32th next year... And, honnestly, I think Cooley will be a better player than Wright in future

32th team have only 18.5% chances to grab 1OA.

So odds are 81.5% you end up without Wright and Bedard. That's awful.

No, only a team from top11 can gets the 1st pick, You have to add 7% from the teams #12 to #16.
Look in your NHL link, it's wrote: REMINDER: The NHL announced changes to the Draft Lottery format on March 23, 2021. Among the changes taking effect this season, there will be a limit on the total number of selections (10) a team participating in the Draft Lottery can "move up" in the event it wins one of the Lottery Draws. Thus, only the top 11 seeds will be eligible to receive the first overall selection in the 2022 NHL Draft.

Only things I’m interested in from MTL are Gallagher, Suzuki and Caufield. If you aren’t trading one of those, you aren’t getting 11 from us.

Ye unfortunately Gallagher has dropped off and is on a bad contract. Wouldn’t touch that with a 10 foot pole unless like Vlasic is going the other way.
