Boeser is probably not going to be traded, and the Canucks are not really in need of Sandin. I’m sure you could trade him somewhere else for a good return

Yeah, easiest decline I have seen recently

I wouldn't do it for Brown only so when we have to add a 5th round pick and Nick Holden (great cheap 1 year veteran stop gap well liked in the room)... then it makes even less sense

Kerfoot becomes UFA at the end of the season, like Brown

What would be the point for Ottawa, IF they were going to trade Brown, to get a player who becomes UFA at the same time? And is a downgrade too

Zero logic.

Or is it because they are so high on a prospect like Der-Arguchintsev?
