They are directly opposed to each other. One states that we don't know who voted. The other states that more ducks players voted. They completely contradict each other.

The other never states how many Ducks players voted. You are trying to put words in my mouth to change the fact that I'm correct.

If you are incapable of understanding simple concepts like this I'm done. Have a nice day.

Says the guy who doesn't understand the simple definition of contradict. Even your misquoting of me isn't a contradiction. More Ducks players could have voted even if we don't know who voted.

We'll put it in a simple step by step way for you, see if that can make you understand.

We don't know who voted.
Can more Ducks players vote than whoever I'm supposedly comparing them to?

is that too difficult for you? Lets take hockey out of it.

The Liberals won the election.
It's likely because Ontario voted for them.

Contradiction? Of course not.

1. Yes, true.
2. This is pure speculation. It hold no merit in this argument.

Yes, me saying its likely because the Ducks voted for him is pure speculation. That doesn't make it contradiction though. Lets take hockey out of it like I did above:

It's likely because Ontario voted for them.

contradiction?

Ducks fans should be grateful that TOR even sent Kerfoot in this deal with how bad Gibson is.

There, now that I've thrown my fuel onto this tire fire of a thread, I'm going to go get some popcorn.

Hahahaha, yeah, all we need to do here is get Muzzin to waive his full NTC for Anaheim here and we'd have my wet dream of Leafs threads tears of joy

Apart from the stupidity of bring politics into this, it's not comparable. WE KNOW that Ontario voted for the liberals, using this analogy (which again, not sure why you had to make it political). The other one is an anonymous poll. That means we don't know.

Ok, let me clarify. If you say we know ducks players were the ones to vote, while also saying that we don't know, that is a contradiction. Saying that it was likely ducks players, but we don't know, is not contradiction, but it is a useless point. Pure speculation and is not a valid point in an argument.

Where do we know Ontario voted for the Liberals from? It's not stated anywhere, just that the Liberals won. Ontario voting for the Liberals is purely an assumption in that example. I used a political example because its easy for Canadians everywhere to understand.

And thank you for finally folding. What I said was indeed not a contradiction. Only took you 3 pages. I guess the political example worked.

As for speculation, its literally what this forum is. We all do it. In this thread for example, its been stated multiple times that GMs have a high opinion on Gibson. What's this based off of? A lot of GMs do recent interviews of their thoughts on Jon Gibson? Nope, its speculation. 99% of arguments on here are, it fills every single thread and every single posters post history.

Except that we do know that Ontario voted for the liberals. If you said “so and so” voted for the libs, that is speculation. But we have concrete data that Ontario voted for them.

Speculation on trades, signing, player values, etc, I agree. This is completely different.

I never specified an election. This is a hypothetical world. It could be literally any year and it changes nothing about the point. You are putting words in my mouth again. Change it to Alberta if you want, it changes nothing.

Muzzin, Holl, Kerfoot, Mrazek are almost 15M in cap space. No teamsare taking on that much money for free. Dubas has sent away all your mid round picks already so you are going to have to mortgage more of your future to move these guy plus what ever you have to spend for a goalie which non of these all Stars will net you,
