Sabres are not trading futures for rentals at this point.
There is less than zero percent chance that Florida moves Ekblad, especially for a declining Tavares.
The Barrie for Muzzin trade is interesting, but I dont think the Oilers can afford to Muzzin next season.

That JT for Ekblad is maybe an all time worst ever! Even at 50% retained Florida doesn’t even consider that!

And also, no one took Mrazek when he was on waivers. Why would Arizona pay picks to get him now….? And no, don’t say that it’s about reaching the floor because they can easily take on other contracts and get picks to take them on.
