This is now a cap team, that will have a little wiggle room $2M~, and a lot more room next season. At full strength, they should be a wild card team at minimum, without being invested into any bad long-term contracts (fingers crossed).

If things go wrong again 😂 you can Fitz/Lindy first and foremost, you have deadline assets in Severson/Graves/Tatar/Wood(?), and the next GM/coach has a nice slate to start with + L. Hughes/Slafkovsky + high 2023 1st rd pick

This is a reasonable Fitz hail mary. HBSE needs to show up.

I think Minnesota gets way better offers from other clubs than that. BG would be run out of Minnesota if he accepted that for a Top NHL scorer.

Would be a team to watch out for with all the players you got without giving up anything

The 3 trades are mostly a base, picks could be higher (for instance 2023 2nd/protected 1st) + prospects (Walsh/Mukhamadullin/Smith) in the Fiala trade. Of course other team’s fans will oppose a “low ball” offer, overvalue their players/situations, but the fact of the matter is, Kevin Fiala isn’t netting a 2OA pick or a top tier prospect, considering the looming cap crunch + Guerin’s recent public comments on the player.
