John Gibson and Adam Henrique (50% retained) to Colorado.

Bowers is a place holder for another asset.

You do like the idea of Sammy and EJ in Anaheim don't you? It's actually probably the one place EJ would waive for as well (I believe he has a home there?) It would be nice to have a 1G tied up and Henrique could hold the 2C spot down until Newhook is ready so there's a lot of sense to it. I just don't see Sakic waving goodbye to the assets he traded to get Kuemper so easily.

That is the idea lol. Henrique is the Avs version of Jeff Carter. He’s cheap for two years and can play up and down the lineup.

Yeah unless we can hammer the Bolts, the goaltending battle is what worries me in the final tbh but even so that's where I think Joe will look to just re-sign DK. The trade idea has merits though so I might try it from both sides. It might still make it tight on the cap for the Avs though with regards to big Val and Manson for example.

I can’t see Manson getting much more than 4 and 16. Besides why would he wants to leave if he’s gonna play with Girard or Byram if he stays lol. Nuke may take the Hyman deal to stay.
