This trade is crap for the Rangers. We can’t afford to resign Miller and that’s a stupid absurd trade for a rental. Why don’t you look at the cap implications on the team you’re trading with then posting this garbage.

Because it is a horrible trade for the leafs. Nylander>horvat, younger better more term. Kerfoot>Pearson and somehow we are giving up a prospect.

Leafs would gladly give up futures for horvat. But this trade is horrible for the leafs.

You're ignoring the fact that you're getting Schenn and a 3rd on top of Miller

I wouldn't call it "slightly" lower LOL. Horvat also only has 1 year left on his contract. I just don't see the Leafs doing that as it pretty much keeps them the same. Nylander only get's traded if it makes them better, which this trade doesn't.

I just explained to you the intangibles that Horvat brings where Nylander doesn't, yet you continue to ignore me

Justin Holl> Cale Makar. It's a pretty simple thing to do when you don't need to provide evidence.

I already did. Both nylander and kerfoot are better in nearly every measurable metric. "Trust me bro per 60" isn't going to cut it.

Horvat isn't soft like Nylander, and Pearson plays with more sandpaper than Kerfoot, and Kerfoot's offensive numbers have more to do with his line mates than he himself. Yet another leaf's fans petty attempt to hype up their players to a higher valuation than is accurate

Which line mates? Spezza, kampf, Engvall, kase, Simmonds, Mikheyev, Tavares clifford.... your argument is baseless. Nylander plays just fine. Doesn't hit a lot because he's too busy stealing pucks. I have no issue with that.

I don't need to hype leafs players up. Nylander is an 80 point top 6 winger. Kerfoot is 50 point player that can play any forward position up and down the lineup and kills penalties very well.

Sounds to me like Vancouver should just keep their players if they possess all of these amazing intangibles.

Nylander and Tavares obviously, Kerfoot isn't a 50 point player if he isn't playing with players of those two guys caliber

There is a decent amount of truth to your Canuck theory

You might have a point if kerfoot played with those two this season.

Nope. Kerfoot Nylander Tavares wasn't very productive. Which kind of punches a hole in your theory. Keerfoot was everywhere but the PP.

Strange but true. That's why nylander was on the 3rd line.

I doubt that very much, Nylander would only be put on the 3rd line in order to add more scoring, don't buy for a second that he was demoted
