    Pittsburgh isn't In a place to trade Marino. If Letang walks they need him more then ever, if Letang resigns they still need him to give them a chance at contending.

    Pittsburgh declines. Damiani has solid numbers in the AHL, but that doesn't necessarily translate to NHL success. He actually took a step back in AHL production (36 points in 36 games to 36 in 55) from the previous season. He's not a bad prospect, but he's not anywhere close to Marino in value, and the Penguins are only moving up 3 spots in the draft for him.
