even then, still a no. Brown can get a much better return in my mind. EDM just aint it. Retaining on Murray makes little sense, he's just as likely to end up on LTIR. I don't think EDM is the trade partner for OTT. Even Jesse P doesn't do it for me tbh

Retaining on Murray is the only way for his contract to not be negative value. Yes he could be LTIR but there's also a good chance he ends up between the IR and playing, again, which still costs a lot of money

Of course, I think they should instead extend Brown for 4-5 years but also thought Nick Paul should have been extended so who knows with this team?
