I would rather keep the pick and Bo, than have Crouse

For Minnesota, I feel like they would want an option other than Tatar, just to stay as far from the cap ceiling as possible

Fitzy said we have too many of the same players and Crouse fits what i feel like he may want. I actually tried to adjust it to a third and bo but kept getting an error.

For the Wild, I get what you mean with Tatar. He was an add for some depth scoring while their young studs like Boldy and Rossi are taking their next step. He's gone after next year and I ate some of Tatar's salary.

I unfortunately think you’re right there lol. I like Bo a lot more than Crouse though

I think they need some kind of depth scoring, but honestly that may be a better spot for Bo since he can slot in as a Middle 6 center or winger for them at a cheaper rate

That Minnesota trade is a no for me. I wouldn't want Tatar for the same reason I wouldn't want Olofsson from Buffalo or Beauvillier from NYI. The 1st has too much protection on it and Boqvist is a pretty mediocre prospect in my books. Not enough value from a Minnesota perspective to trade Fiala.

Minnesota declines. They aren't taking on tatar or waiting until 3 drafts to get a pick. We will trade fiala elsewhere

Realistically, what do you think Minnesota can get for Fiala?
just for reference, I based my trade on the following:
Last year Sam Reinhart was in a similar spot age and contract wise and Florida got him at the draft for next years (this year now) top 10 protected first and a Devon Levi. Levi was drafted in the 7th round the yr prior and then had a lights out world junior but was hurt the rest of the year.
Fiala has put up better numbers than Reinhart no doubt which is why i added. I think Foote should be a much better prospect that is basically NHL ready, a roster player who has a history of putting up points, and the likelyhood of the Devils first rounder being a much better spot than florida based on where the team is at.

Why would Toronto pay a 4th for someone to sit on LTIR

They have done it before. Should have been a 7th not a 4th.

Nash was also (very briefly) played in the top 9
