This is a good deal for the leafs. They get a player in Cooley or Slaf, that has a good chance of being a better all around player than Nylander, but more importantly, they get cap space.

Im an idiot and somehow mistaked Nylander for Marner. Id consider it if it was Nylander going back the other way.

Believe me, I’m big onto the cap space is overrated side. But 6 mil in cap space is a lot and can let the leafs go out and either one 6 mil player or 2 or 3 guys. That’s not nothing.

why do so many fans think bratt is going to get 6.5, guys scoring 80+ points and have more then 1 good season get that. bratt is going to sign for 5 to 5.5
