If the Caps get knocked out again. Heard talks about trading Ovechkin, thought this would be more likely. Wouldn't be mad if we got him instead

I actually like this a lot. The only thing I don't like is blocking Walman/Dunn on the left side defense.

Yeah I agree. But walman needs more time, and Dunn would more likely be up then lindbohm.

These seem pretty one-sided. Vegas takes a cap dump along with Paajarvi when they could just take Paajarvi? I doubt STL and WSH first rounders will be enough to move up that high in the draft. The WSH trade adds about $6M in cap to a team that won't have the space and doesn't need more wingers... and Williams and Alzner are UFA July 1st, why would they commit to STL when they could play the open market?

Piggy backing off AK, that won't be enough to get up to Vegas's first round spot. Even if they got up to that spot, I would to get a little higher in order to take Gabriel Vilardi instead of Tippett. Then again, i don't see us getting Backstrom in a deal

After looking at it from wash side it'd have to be Fabbri. And the blues would probably have to add a second to get LV to take lehtera. And why wouldn't they come to this team and win a championship.

Tippett will be a better fit for this team, and probably have a better NHL career.

I don't think I would trade Schwartz for Backstrom and wouldn't mind holding onto Sobotka. Parayko may get more than a bridge deal if cap shakes out.

Think it would have to be fabs, for the Caps cap. And I see Parayko getting 2 years and then when bows contract ends, he gets all that money
      BDang liked this.
