Description
I see this as a Possibility, everytime I hear Torts speak its sounds like he really wants time to learn the room and see where we're at. I expect them to try to get better in certain areas Like replacing the ECHL players we had last year.

I think They draft one of
David Jiricek- IF Chuck wants to add another Defesnman to the Prospect Pool I think they definitely go Jiricek because We are Slim at D.

Mathew Savoie- Savoie is who I lean towards wanting because I think he has a true Upside of being a high point Producer and if we aren't Going after a big free agent I think Savoie has the best chance of being that for us.

IMO they shouldn't be paying that much for 3RD and 4C, and they should add 1LW instead of 2LW (it probably isn't a secret what I'm implying lol)

I agree with the moves. Just not the prices on some. I feel they can go after a Rutta or Lybuishkin for around $2M. One of those two would be ideal 3rd pairing RHD. Especially Rutta. For the 4th line Center they should go about $1-2M either. There is some decent, bargain bin type players available. I agree with the Left Winger tho. Need a solid 2nd or 1st line left winger. Nichushkin would be ideal.

I understand that but TBH signing Gaudreau Long Term will probably just end up biting us we're not ready For a star We need to let our Younger players Develop First so that by the time they're good Nhl our superstar isn't well into his 30s making 10 Plus million. I think torts could still get a lot out of a team like this and we could at least make the playoffs.

Imo Overpaying For better depth is important because One we need a reliable D partner For York so his growth Isn't hindered and 2 if we can get a 4th Line Center I think that will Help Macewan Out taking a bit of pressure off him. Tampa and Colorado Have shown How important a lineup with a lot of depth is.

Little's contract is largely paid by insurance so yeah he has a cap but it's almost no real dollars, unlike JVR. I think it would cost a lot more to move JVR, it won't be anything crazy most likely a 2nd a prospect like Stralman last year.
