Before I get lambasted, I'm going to add some qualifiers here. I don't think that the organization has hidden the fact that they like Morin and Hagg. I would be shocked to see that they don't make the team next year and get vaulted by Sanheim and/or Myers. It was a really tough choice between Raffl and Cousins for the last protection spot. I caught a case of shiny, new toy syndrome and had Raffl get selected when, in reality, the Flyers are probably going to protect the guy they see as their 1LW. Unless Filppula gets moved somehow, whoever we get at 2 is probably going to juniors. There is some room for the Flyers to get a goalie (aka Bishop), but I don't think that there is enough for the money that he is going to want, nor do I think that Hextall is going to go out of his way to sign a name for term and cash when he has prospects coming up. It's not like that team is a contender anyway. There would be no point.

I think you are fine. Don't let any of the idiots (select few) lambaste you. This is all based on either your opinion or wishes, nobody is more right than the other. I differ in that I would hope Linblom would beat out some of the forwards for at least being on the third line. And for some reason I think the organization will go outside for a G with Neuvirth being traded

Bishop is overrated and will get a disastrous contract if he gets what he thinks he deserves. Raffl hasn't player on the first line in quite a long time, and isnt really worth the money that we are shelling out to him. He can't even score ten goals this year and his main job is to score goals.

Raffl was on the first line for the majority of this year and almost all of the last. Only reason he wasn't there at season's end was because he got hurt, which allowed Weal to come up. Raffl is the best fit we have right now for 1LW. His raw totals are low because of absolutely no PP time, but his underlying metrics are definitely first line worthy. Would I like to see someone with a better scoring ability in that role? Yeah and if Lindblom is the man to do it, then our bottom six just gets even better. I just have a feeling that Lindblom starts in the AHL unless he blows the doors off in camp. I don't really see that happening though because he's more of a "jack of all trades, master of none" kind of player so the flash may not be there. Compound that with the fact that he's going against Laughton (who is an NHLer on most teams that don't have a logjam in the bottom 6), Leier (who I think the organization likes enough to give him a long look), and whomever we select at #2 and I just don't see the room being there for Lindblom to crack the opening night roster. I honestly see it being a Ghost/Weal situation where the kid comes up and we all go, "Damn, why wasn't he up sooner?"

Raffl isn't a 1LW. Just because he played there doesn't mean he should. Ideally he should be a 3rd liner with Coots/Schenn. I don't think Raffl gets that spot though. And Bishop would be awful for us at this point. It's not that I'm trying to be rude to you but they aren't going to play TK on the 4th line that is just ridiculous. He only played there when he came back form injury for the last two weeks of the season.

I agree with you about Raffl, but that's where the team sees him until a better option presents itself. That's pretty clear by his 5v5 TOI over the past three seasons. His metrics point to him being a great third liner, which is great. Every team needs them. Weal is taking probably LW2 if he comes back and Raffl is probably going back to LW1when camp begins just because of his familiarity with 28 and 93. I also don't see the 10-14-22 line being broken up until some time down the road during the season because of their late season success. TK is probably just going to start there and move up. I don't see those lines sticking together for the entire season because very rarely do lines stay together, so there's no reason to be alarmed there.
