as a Flyers fan I really don't see Weal signing for that cheap to go to New York. He is probably looking for a deal around $1.2-1.5M

No way do i see Ray Shero trading Kovalchuk to the Rangers, Pretty sure the Rangers would be the last team he would trade him to.

Kovalchuk will not be a positive addition in NHL. Martin is not what we need. Who in their right mind would offer a 2nd and a 5th for a healthy scratch d, maybe a 5th.

the Sharks don't need another offensive player for a big part of their defense, we would need a defender, not an RW,

you sir need to think about your trades. 1. Why in the world would new jersey trade Kovy to NYR. They don't like each other. 2. That trade for Kony is the wort trade I've ever seen. NJ might as well hang on to him. Grabner struck gold this year and will never again come close to scoring 30 goals in a season. He barely had any assists so that just goes to show you that he was just in the right place at the right time on half points this season.

I agree with nashless. What is all the love for Kovalchuk? It's like going to a high school reunion and you want to meet your old school sweetheart.. Well you do meet her.....she's been married three times, her plastic surgery is a mess and now she's a chain smoker. People remember Kovalchuk for what he was six or ten years ago. Why even think he can be NHL productive at age 34, maybe big money and giving up assets to obtain him. Stay away.
