Most involve 2nd overall pick plus prospects. The pick alone should be good, if DeBrincat fit the type of player we were looking for, but he is not.

If you want to say "Cat isn't the type of player NJ is looking for" that's fine. But there is not a single player in this draft that would make me want to trade Cat 1 for 1. Not Shane Wright, not Logan Cooley, and not Slafkovsky. So, no, the pick alone should NOT be good.
