Minor changes to add speed

Created by: lhibbs90
Team: 2022-23 Tampa Bay Lightning
Initial Creation Date: Jun. 28, 2022
Published: Jun. 28, 2022
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Risk/Reward but higher upside play to get Bear on a prove it deal. Adds a mobile D man on the right side. Carolina not likely on Killorn's modified NTC and get a guy with cup experience and great locker room guy. Koepke and Alex BB will fight in camp for last roster spot for opening day. Paul takes around market rate especially in Tampa. Palat take the home team discount pay cut but JBB gives him term if he wants it. Prove it year for Foote to see if he can make it with todays NHL speed but have Bogo as backup if he takes a step back.

Canes accept.

Palat isn’t taking that big of a discount. Gotta get close to 5m which means Paul is gone and you bring in a cheap vet to replace him

Instead of trading for bear have Carolina throw in another draft pick. Then resign for Rutta for slightly cheaper than what you have for Bear. I feel like JBB would prefer to bring back the current players instead of bringing in new and unproven guys.

You're comparing a guy who was with the team for a year and a half to Palat when it comes to considering a team discount? 4.9mil in Alberta also isn't very much more than 3.45mil in Tampa...

You can also make the trade whatever you want but getting a 25 year old Defensive prospect with NHL experience for an aging rental while not retaining any salary is about the going rate...

You do realize Killorn most productive years of his career have been the last 3 so while he;s aging his play isn't declining.

You drastically over value the tax deal especially considering alberta's tax rate of 5% means max 245k so Your math is brutally off. no i wasn't comparing their discounts i'm saying this is palats last chance at a BIG PAYDAY he earned and taking about 60% of what he can get on the open market is moronic
