NYI never takes that trade. Parise extended specifically to be on LI. Lou loves him, and his dad played for the franchise.

I'm guessing Parise isn't very fast, so he probably wouldn't compliment Tavares and Nylander. Tavares isn't the fastest but having a fast, strong player who can go retrieve the puck and score goals would help him and Nylander.

Isles just re-upped Parise and did not trade him at the deadline. They have no incentive to do this. Lou and ZP are loyal to each other

If loyalty matters, then Bailey doesn’t get traded as well. Parise should’ve never gotten the extension this past deadline. 1 of 2 dumb deals by Lou, with Clutterbuck being the other

Parise/Lou extension is exactly why they are loyal (to each other). Why shouldn’t he have? He is a steal on a vet min contract. Can PK, PP and never takes a shift off.

Bailey is not a Lou guy. He has no loyalty to him. Bails was already left unprotected at expansion without a deal in place with Seattle
