Description

It's a slightly different approach in that I try to capitalize on the need for cap space in TOR to get another 1st round pick.

I also go under the assumption that PIT is unable to keep Letang or Malkin from reaching UFA and both players leave for other teams which leaves PIT scrambling to keep a team together for another shot at a cup.

The PHI trade is probably way off value depending on if you view Ellis as a cap dump (due to injury history OR if you view him as a big part of the team). Either way there were rumors he was not happy about being traded to PHI and wants out, which IMO lowers the value by a vast amount. And the FLA pick I believe will be a lottery pick. I think FLA will undergo a lot of offseason changes and miss the playoffs next season.

Price is unable to play and will go on LTIR and Drouin will miss the first 25 games but will come back and tear it up and get traded at the TDL

I don't mind the pens trade. Think the Habs would take a player like Legare instead of Nylander? (French connection + Poulin and Nathan are good friends)

Yeah i'm sure that Ryan Ellis would be happier in cellar dweller Montreal.

And 2 late 1st and Anderson doesn't move you up 21 spots, Not even close.

Then just buy him out and stop making tons of ACGM where you trade him for some assets like if he got any value. (not taking about you specifically, but about leafs fans)

tell you what, you stop everyone from making tons of agms where they ask for premium assets that they'd never ever ever get for em and ill work on the other side

Did you read the description up top ? I even said it's more then likely way off because I don't know how to value Ellis. PHI gave up a 2nd and Meyers for Ellis but if it's true that Ellis was unhappy about going to PHI and wants out it kind of ties your hands for value.
