Description

I could be way off with the Girard-to-CBJ offer, but I think it helps both sides. Also think I gave fair market value to re -sign the Avs UFAs I kept. Got G depth by adding Campbell to a 3 year deal, but he might get more than I offered him, idk. And finally, Subban is a shell of himself, so he comes to COL on a one-year "prove it deal" but also gets to chase a cup so he takes it. Let me know whatcha think.

Think they would rather re-sign a starter in Kuemper than rub 2 backup goalies. They aren't trying to imitate Edmonton. If Girard is traded it is probably for a top 6 forward

I think a 2 headed net with Campbell (who posted really great numbers in the first half this season) and Francouz is better than what Edmonton had. And besides, with the defense COL has, they don't need a G to stop 30+ (or 40 once in a while) shots a night.

I just can’t see the Jackets doing this deal. The Jackets are looking to get some size on the backend. Girard defeats that purpose.

Columbus has no use for another LHD, with Werenski, Gavrikov and Bean we really don’t need another lefty. Maybe if you were to do Bean and a 2nd for Girard but I wouldn’t give up much more.
