I'd prefer Necas, Morrow and 1st for Chychrun. Would take Gardiner back. Without Morrow I'd guess Heimosalmi + 2nd could work, but it's not ideal. How about that?

Agree with 555 that I wouldn’t move Morrow for Chych or most other guys. I’d move him for somebody like debrincat tho.

I think the point is there is something there. Would offer a very deep and talented defensive corp for the Canes. We can go back and forth about the details of the deal, but something is there for both sides for sure.

I dont see why the Sabres give up a 4th, Bear isnt enough to take Gardiner

I agree. LAK was probably the frontrunners, but without 19th OA and Faber their offers aren't as exciting, even if they have the assets, I guess. Necas + 1st + picks/prospects from a deep pool is very enticing. Chychrun also feels like a player that makes a lot of sense for Carolina and Arizona get to move him out East. As you said, there is something here for both teams.
